Dear Henderson,

We are just sending to the Foreign Office

officially a copy of a despatch from the Governor

of Hong Kong forwarding retums of war materials

which have passed through the Colony since the

outbreak of the hostilities in China. (Please see

Foreign Office letter F 3198/34/10 of 5th April).

As the returns are likely to be of interest

to the War office you will perhaps consider that chat

Department should be given a chance of looking at

them. We haven't a supply or duplicates available

to send to them.
